Hello! I’m Jason. I live in Herriman Utah (just south of Salt Lake City) with my wife and two boys.

By Day, I work as a Business Intelligence Engineer—though I usually just say Data Analyst, since that’s easier to explain. I’m currently a Director, leading a small team of talented BI engineers.

By Night, I’m a junior real estate investor. My wife and I have always focused our savings and investments in real estate rather than traditional retirement methods. We own & manage a couple of rentals, but now I’m working on transitioning into land as a more manageable investment. (That is my nice way of saying I am tired of replacing water heaters haha).

I am currently looking for vacant land within a few hours of major cities as I feel this has potential for recreation or vacation home use.

Personally, I enjoy travel, mountain biking, and playing Minecraft with my kids. My wife and I both come from big families, so our weekends can often revolve around birthday parties or family dinners. Otherwise we are normally just hanging out at home, happy to have survived another week of school/work :)
