A former TV news gal, I earned my stripes at the University of Missouri's journalism school with a bachelor's degree in broadcast. Seven years and three newsrooms later, I returned home to Washington and to earn my M.A. in Interactive Journalism from American University in 2012.
In 2012, I started a podcast called It's All Journalism, which its co-creator continues on. You can find it on iTunes/Stitcher about changing trends in the industry and advances in digital journalism.
