Megan Dinkins was born in 1992 and grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2010, Dinkins left Memphis to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Dinkins was inspired to study Kinesiology because of her background in high school athletics and passion for staying fit. After obtaining her bachelor's degree at UT, Dinkins was accepted into the Accelerated BSN program at Lincoln Memorial University.
Dinkins is currently a senior at Lincoln Memorial University and remains diligent in her coursework. In addition to her studies, while at UT Dinkins became involved in her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. Through Kappa Kappa Gamma, Dinkins has participated in charity events for March of Dimes, Habitat for Humanity, and Relay for Life. Dinkins has also served on the Standards Counsil of the sorority as the Member-At-Large.
Upon receiving BSN, Dinkins plans to remain in Knoxville and obtain a job as an RN in the Emergency Department at UT Medical Center. Dinkins hopes this provide experiences that will lead her to achieve her ultimate career goal of working under an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the recovery of high school and college athletes.
