I study Medieval English romances and Ojibwe literature for my PhD in Durham, UK. I am especially excited about looking at cultural aspects of societies from new perspectives. One way I do this is by using Postcolonial studies as a lens for understanding literature.
But my PhD isn't my whole life (though sometimes it feels like it is). I also spend time doing work for other organizations related to academia and you can find out about many of them from some of the web sites below. There are also a number of other activities which bring joy to my life including baking, gaming, travel, hillwalking, reading blogs, listening to new music and going to gigs, and gardening.
