Hi! I'm a law school graduate and independent researcher. My current work is on life in the frontier zone between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, where much of the border has yet to be delimited. I'll spend a year living there, interviewing local officials and residents, watching trials and mediation sessions ... all to try to piece together how people resolve disputes without clear national title to land, water or pasture.

I previously spent a year interviewing judges in village courts in Kyrgyzstan and - in what feels like a prior life - worked with the US DOJ, SDNY, at a law firm and on Wall Street. I grew up in Massachusetts, and I love exploring.
