Meghan Nicholls is the Chief Executive Officer atFood Banks Mississauga.
With a 20+ year career in the nonprofit sector, I’ve provided staff and board leadership at organizations dedicated to causes that lift my neighbours out of poverty or personal struggle and enable them to fulfill their potential. I’ve been acknowledged as a communicator who inspires and builds credibility and as a leader who produces deepened impact in a competitive marketplace.
Driven by my passion for ending hunger and seeing poverty reduced in my own community, I’m proud of my contribution to the significant growth of Food Banks Mississauga (formerly The Mississauga Food Bank) which has benefited thousands of food bank clients in my city.
With an affinity for establishing relationships, I’ve been acknowledged for producing unprecedented fundraising growth in a competitive marketplace. Combining an ability to make personal connections with an influential approach, I build and lead teams to exceed goals while maintaining mission focus and increasing efficiencies.
In addition to passion for my work, I enjoy time with my husband and cats, being an auntie, doing crossword puzzles in a hammock, and good cups of tea.
