Originally from Silicon Valley, Meghan Asha’s passion for technology and innovation is deeply ingrained in her DNA. After graduating with honors from USC, she moved to New York to join one of the largest technology-focused hedge funds. In 2007, Asha took her experience as a technology hedge fund analyst and parleyed it into pursuing her passion: advising web-based technology startups. In September 2008, she partnered with Next New Networks and NBC's New York NonStop to produce and co-host a popular Internet chat show, TMI weekly, a fun, honest tri-weekly talk show about life, tech and style. Asha led the technology segments interviewing hundreds of technology companies. She's covered events like Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, The World Economic Forum in Davos, DLD in Munich, Le Web, MacWorld and the Consumer Electronics Show. Asha does commentary for Fox News, CBS, CNET and CNBC. She’s also been featured in the LA Times, Page Six Magazine, NY Observer, Wired Magazine, CNET, Elle,, QVC and Bergdorf Goodman. Asha speaks at various technology, business and media conferences. She enjoys the learning that comes from start-ups. She believes deeply in translating ideation into execution and hopes to one-day use all of her acquired knowledge from the startup community to foster the growth of female founders in emerging markets. Asha has her MBA from Columbia University.
