My digital career began about 9 years ago when I landed the position of Ecommerce Marketing Coordinator for a small online women's apparel company.

Walking into the job, I knew the basics of traditional marketing thanks to my shiny, new 4-year degree, but really had no clue what I had gotten myself into. Of course, this was back during the recession, so losing my new job was not an option. My boss didn't have time to show me the ropes, we just needed sales. So, I rolled up my sleeves and dug right into anything and everything while hoping I could impress them enough to keep me on the payroll.

In an abbreviated overview, I...

- Organized, re-designed and created our Email Marketing Campaigns.

- Dabbled in Banner ads (yup, banner ads, remember those?)

- Jumped right into learning all things Google Analytics and Adwords.

- Learned all things PhotoShop faster than anything else in my entire life.

- And dove right into using Facebook and Twitter for marketing our small business.

Out of everything I had learned and tried, Facebook became my secret sauce. I grew our Facebook page from 550 fans to over 3,000 in 3 months and those fans turned into actual customers with our weekly flash sales. As our leads became more steady and our sales started to climb, I was promoted to a manager position within my first 6 months and that is when my addiction to social media and digital marketing began.

Since then I have worked with many companies helping them to develop engaging social media strategies, build out sales funnels and solid content marketing campaigns. My ability to learn quickly, strategize and execute campaigns while analyzing results, makes me a strong marketer in an ever-changing industry.

As a professional, I'm very self-motivated, organized and I definitely don't need my hand held. With that in mind, I'm also a strong team player. I'm friendly, flexible and a quick communicator.
