Meghan Vigeant (at left in photo) is a writer, personal historian, and multimedia producer.

She is the founder of Stories To Tell, a personal history publishing service. She creates custom books and audio memoirs for individuals who want to save and pass on their personal and family histories. She offers writing, editing, interviewing, coaching, and design services.

She is the author of Guts, Feathers, and All, a collection of profiles about ten Swan’s Island residents and their island’s history. She was the Island Institute Historical Documentation Fellow on Swan’s Island, ME from 2009 to 2011 and produced a body of oral histories, a digital photo collection, exhibits, and audio and multimedia documentaries.

She is the producer/director ofUntouchable Love,a multimedia documentary about an inter-caste marriage in Nepal, 2012.

Meghan earned her B.A. in theater at Siena Heights University and worked as an actress and stage manager. She attended the radio documentary program at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine.

She hasn't acted in a professional theater production in over ten years but she still enjoys putting on a costume, even on ordinary days, and pretending to live in the olden days with her partner in crime, her mom (at right in photo).
