Meg Kummerow
Small Business Owner and Founder in Queensland, Australia
Meg Kummerow founded Fly the Farm in April 2016 after attending an agricultural conference and realising the need for someone with knowledge of agriculture to help farmers, agronomists and others looking to service the agricultural industry with drones. Her passion for Australian Agriculture is the main driver behind the business and she loves nothing more than helping out other farmers get the best drone for their needs.
Meg grew up on a beef cattle property in the Central Burnett region of Queensland. She attended Dalby Agricultural College and has worked in the Feedlotting, Pastoral, Cotton and Grains Industries. She is currently involved with various grain industry organisations, which helps her maintain direct contact with industry and fulfils her passion for industry representation.
Meg and her family live on a grain farm on the Darling Downs in Queensland and her parents still run the beef cattle property in the Central Burnett.
Meg makes sure to listen to every one of her customers needs so that she can deliver that suits them best. Meg also provides consulting services to larger agricultural businesses wishing to bring drones into their service delivery.
