Meg Matthews
Strategic Communications in Seattle, Washington
I build communications strategies for mission-driven organizations to tell stories that matter.
I'm an agile, results-driven professional with a decade of experience providing communications counsel across multiple industries, including higher education and informal learning institutions, nonprofit and cultural organizations, and government agencies.
Prior to working for the University of Washington, I built research and conservation communication strategies from the ground up at Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium and served as a trusted messaging strategist for national Sierra Club campaigns in the Pacific Northwest and Powder River Basin regions.
I'm committed to centering equity in communications and building mindful networks of communicators whose work counteracts racial oppression.
