An urbansketcher and a storyteller. Currently driven to introduce more people to children's books that promote our rich Filipino culture and heritage (www.tahananbooks.ph). Wrote grants, acquired partnerships and supervised as the Deputy Executive Director running programs for the promotion and sustainability of Philippine indigenous culture. Spent almost a year developing business strategies for a Culturespace (@manilacollectible) situated within the walls of Intramuros while taking in events and graphic design projects on days off. Had a stint in developing communications to get trendier clothes to more provinces (www.popstylemanila.weebly.com). Had over a couple of years of generating funding to give back smiles to street children (www.virlanie.org). Managed the pilot volunteer team to launch the solar bottle bulb project in the Philippines through www.ALiterOfLight.org campaign. Trained under the country's established design and PR agencies. Once shared the spotlight in a billboard along North EDSA with a top matinee idol. Majored in writing at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos but spent most of her free time backstage and onstage. A sucker for Broadway, old Hollywood films, K-dramas and the local theatre scene. Born in Manila to a Capiznon father & a Bicolana mother. Caps the 1st quarter every year hoping to empower college students in Roxas City public schools to "SEE Opportunities" (Seminar on Employment Enhancement Opportunities).
