M.Sc. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from Gebze Technical University (Turkey) in August 2026 with a GPA of 4.00/4.00. Conducted thesis studies under supervision of academic advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Pir. Developed a computational workflow integrating single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics data to construct agent-based models of the tumour microenvironment in hepatocellular carcinoma, covering scRNAseq annotation, cell-cell interaction inference, ST-based spatial deconvolution, and PhysiCell-based agent-based simulation
Contributed to a science project called “Development of 3D Mathematical Models of Tumour Microenvironments” as a scholarship holder funded by TUBITAK. Gebze Technical University (December 2023 - January 2025)
Completed an Erasmus Internship in Applied Bioinformatics Lab (Prof. Ingo Ebersberger) at Goethe Universität Frankfurt am Main, Germany (January - March 2025).
Completed an online bioinformatics internship at MitoSTaRs Lab (Dr. Uwe Richter) at the University of Helsinki, Fİnland (June - September 2023).
Completed an Erasmus Internship in Baumeister Lab (Prof. Ralf Baumeister) at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Germany (January - April 2023).
B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Inonu University (Turkey) in June 2022 with a 3.90/4.00 GPA, the second-highest GPA in the university, and the first in my faculty and department.
I am a fan of science. I’m also interested in art. I am motivated to keep learning and complete higher academic degrees in different fields of research, namely Bioinformatics, Evolutionary Research, Molecular Biology, and other similar fields. Also, I am actively looking for job opportunities outside of academia.
