Mehmet Selim Kaymak

Mehmet Selim Kaymak is a graduate in Political Science from the University of Ankara, Turkey and a MBA from GIBS Business School, University of Pretoria, South Africa. Selim Kaymak is currently the CEO and a Director of Londani Coal (Pty) Ltd.

He has gained extensive experience and knowledge in the mining industry through his 14 years’ experience as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer for mining companies.

He also serves on the board of trustees of Business Unity South Africa (BUSA). Business Unity South Africa (BUSA) was created in October 2003 through the merger of the Black Business Council and Business South Africa. It began operating in January 2004. The merger created the first truly unified organisation for business in South Africa.

Selim is an avid reader of books; he reads a wide variety of books which includes books on politics, philosophy, business, history and culture. He is fluent in Turkish, English and beginner French.
