Mekhi Gammons

Hello everyone, I am Mekhi Gammons and I am currently i student at the University of Georgia in Athens. I run track for the university, and I am a sprinter that runs the 200 and 400. I am currently a freshman and still getting familiar with the school. My major is in psychology and minor in sports management. A fun fact about me is that I love to skate, it is something I can do all day. I love wearing slides and will wear them as much as I can without wearing actual shoes. Born with a passion for speed and an unrelenting drive to conquer new challenges, my name has become a name synonymous with excellence in the world of track and field. From my early days of racing around the neighborhood to my current standing as a national track star, my journey is one of dedication, determination, and triumph. Hailing from the big city of Miami, my athletic journey began as a child when she would race her friends from one end of the block to the other. My fast speed always caught the attention of my physical education teacher, who encouraged me to run track even though I was already doing so. Little did I know it would turn into a career path for me.
