Melania

I’m Melania, I’m a student, I’m 17 years old and I’m a Senior. This is my first year at NBPS and my first year as a boarding student. Although it’s not the first time, I’m staying away from my family and my country because, since I was 12, I’ve always been to summer campuses and I’ve done many cultural changes in many different countries, especially the ones where I can practise the languages I’ve been studying so far: spanish, french and english. I really care about school and about these experiences because they are essentials to built my future and my career. I’m very determined and I’m in a status of anxiety and stress until I don’t achieve my goals. Moreover I’m also very sincere : I hate lying to my friends and to the ones I love; I think that lying is hiding what you are really are and what others see in you. I’ve always liked being myself, showing my privileges and weaknesses, I mean, it’s me, and I don’t want to hide who I really am.
In my life, studies, family and friends are what I most care about. As I explained before, I want to be a businesswoman: I’d like to be a doctor ( a dermatologist) or I’d like to work as an editor of a fashion magazine such as: Runway, Vogue and Elle. I want to work in a foreign country like France or here in the Us because I want to to take advantage of my ability in speaking and learning languages different from my native’s one. My mum and my father have always supported me in every decision and they expect from me a lot: my dad is a dentist and he would like me to study medicine, whereas my mum, says she doesn’t care about what I’m gonna be but she just want me to have a good job and of course a good salary.
I’d like to be considered as a person on top of things, responsible and able to built her career alone.
