Melanie Hall

Melanie Hall is a creative executive, author, producer and psychotherapist-in-training, who has extensive experience in marketing, business, new media and content production. She is a longtime activist for raising awareness of mental health issues facing young adults, and is the co-author of “Behind Happy Faces: Taking Charge of Your Mental Health,” which was embraced by school counselors across the nation. She also created/produced the “Face the Issue” PSA campaign about young women's mental health, which the New York Times called “A model for what communications with young people will look like.”

In 2011, Hall received her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. While obtaining her Master’s, Hall worked as a Clinical Trainee at the Valley Community Clinic, where she treated individuals with issues such as addiction, eating disorders, sexual abuse, chronic pain, divorce, domestic violence, suicide ideation, parenting, anxiety and depression.

Beyond Hall’s work within the mental health and non-profit fields, she has excelled in business, analysis and marketing, holding key leadership roles in media companies such as Quarterlife, Demand Media and Sulake.
