Do you find it difficult to know how your child is feeling? Is there a lack of communication with your teenager? My passion is to create a safe place for children and individuals to begin exploring the issues in their life that are holding them back from being the individuals they were intended to be. I am dedicated to walking along side each of my clients, children and adults/couples and families, through this journey. I have experience working with grieving children and adults and families, as well as leading group counseling sessions on grief/loss, anxiety/depression and parenting.

My Play Therapy Certification provides framework in working with children ages 3 and up. Sometimes it's difficult for children to express how they are feeling, but allowing them to use their language of play can help work through their struggles. Play Therapy can be a tool to communicate and understand a child's needs.

My practice serves the greater Kansas City metro area. I work with clients who've experienced grief/loss, divorce, or anxiety/depression. As a child I experienced the loss of a parent at the age of 10 and I offer a unique perspective working with individuals and children who have experienced loss.
