I have a background in Middle Eastern culture/policy, archaeology and journalism from Brigham Young University where I also worked as a Montessori teacher and child development instructor. In the past I have been involved in several local, state and national political campaigns and have contributed to several different non-profits, organizing fundraising efforts and assisting with event functions.

In my free time, I am usually watching dinosaur movies or complaining about the fifth season of LOST.
