Melanie Dorminey
I am a student at the University of Georgia working on my Ed.D. in Workforce Education. I have a B.S. in Agriculture Education from the University of Georgia and a M.S. in Agriculture Education from Iowa State University. Agriculture also plays a major role in my life outside of the classroom. I grew up on a farm in East Tennessee where my family raised Angus Beef Cattle, bred and showed Tennessee Walking Horses, and grew tobacco, vegetables and hay. In my spare time, I help my husband manage our 500 acre hay farm and enjoy spending time with my horses and dog. (My horse Jack pictured to the right.)
