Formerly MD of Recruit Media,I have over 15 years recruitment experience in the creative services sector, starting one of the UK's the first digital media recruitment operations for Recruit Media in 1994. This means I have a thorough understanding of the creative sector at all levels. As a recruiter I have a lot of experience in generating business, identifying candidates and successfully placing people in permanent and freelance roles.

I've been lucky enough to have worked with a wide range of high profile companies from their launch including Avenue A Razorfish and Grand Union to build teams and then continue to support them over the long term with freelance and permanent staff. I've worked with clients on very senior roles including Head of Interactive for the BBC & Creative Director for SapientNitro. I've successfully tendered for and worked with a large range of public sector organisations including the BBC, Department for Work and Pensions, Department for Education, The Cabinet Office and the Department for Health as well as all of the large design and branding agencies.

Experience as joint MD of a high profile and successful digital media recruitment agency means I am adept at building and running a high turnover recruitment business including an MBO and subsequent sale within two years.

In addition to recruiting, I work with recruitment agencies to train staff and adding a level of consistency and excellence to their operation which means they can then deliver an excellent bedrock of income and profit to the business.

The aim is to create staff who are motivated, confident and aware of their targets and how to achieve them. I help develop clear and objective lines of communication and reporting which is backed up with some targeted training.

I can be useful to businesses in lots of ways, talent acquisition, training and development as well as simply being a safe pair of hands on important projects, I'm also told I'm a laugh to have around too, my main motivation is finding great people to work with.
