I was born in Germany to a German father and aFilipino mother. Thus, I grew up within two different cultures which truly arethe opposite of one another. I got to know completely different values. On oneside, the German punctuality, discipline and efficiency, and on the other side, the Filipino warmness, optimism and the necessity to appreciate and be thankfulfor the small things in life.
As different as the environment in which I grewup was, so different are my abilities and character attributes. I like to be creative,to be among people, and I love philosophy and psychology. I’ve never had problems to integrating in anew group. Therefore I could easily work in a new environment or be the person, who rises the atmosphere in a new team. Sometimes, people wonder if they willever see me without a smile on my face. On occasion, I can turn into thatsilent person, who forgets everything around her while concentrating solely ona specific problem, particularly when it contains numbers or when it requiresanalytical skills. The harder, the better. Seeing people who cannot solve theissue only increases my motivation. Then, my ambition replaces the smiling faceas I want to solve it, I need to. Thus, even when the company I work for had toface a very hard time, I will be the person who is motivated to work hard toget things done.
But my childhood taught me to combine these two personalities. I love solving complicated issues, but I am always thinking further. Even if the solution itself is very important, much more important for me are the questions: “What am I doing it for? What will I change?”
