Hi! I'm Melanie: a brand marketing professional with 10+ years of fabulous experience telling the brand story of some of the best in the world.

I can't say that one day I popped up and decided to be a marketing maverick. It sort of happened organically over a bottle of Clinique mosturizer. When I was 6, my mom gave me some; it was one of those free with purchase deals. I immediately went outside and convinced the neighborhood kids that it would bring the dead leaves back to life. After selling my stock and raiding her make-up drawer for a few other concoctions, I found that telling the good news of what products can do and getting others to "buy-in" was my happy! Not hers... or my father's; since I also convinced these kids that his expensive landscaping rocks had diamonds in them- and that we should hammer them out to make MILLIONS! In my garage lab. Imagine his chagrin...

When I dream, I dream BIG...

Since that time, creatively telling the story has become my passion. Converting that story to consumers, loyalist and evangalists has been my success. It's put me in the company of some pretty big names like InterContinental Hotels Group, vitaminwater, Novartis, W Hotels, Kool, Atlantic Records, Def Jam, CBS Radio, Bravo Television, Moet/Hennessey and a host of others.

In my spare time, I play Wonder Woman to a hubs and two awesome boys: a 4-year-old super hero named Jaiden and a picture of cuteness baby named Chandler. Along with my sidekick hubs, I'm also a chef, lead counsil, accountant extraordinaire, toy engineer and Director of Janitorial Services. Together, we form The Gayles Clan. We're still looking for that chick from The Incredibles to make our uniforms. If you see her, tell her to call me... In the meantime, I'll be pasting a couple of pieces of felt together.

Oh yeah, and I'm still convinced I can make diamonds out of rocks...
