Melanie Kent
I am a Chicago native and Los Angeles resident, working to become an advocate for social change. By studying both International Relations and Global Studies, I plan to combine the practicality of political diplomacy with the compassion of sociological anthropology. Learning should never be confined to the walls of a classroom; I enjoy discoveries in places like the wilderness backcountry, the city subway, and every atypical setting in between. I believe in being imperfect, adventurous, stretched, and wholly open to the potential of new ideas.
