Melanie’s experience includes 20 years as a senior manager and executive leader -with small private and large public companies- in the staffing and recruiting industry and teaching Organizational Development and Behavior at the university level for 7 years. She is also a certified advanced facilitator, a court trained mediator and a formally educated lawyer.

Melanie is a regular contributor to the Toastmaster Magazine, the leading authority in communication and leadership with an international distribution and global circulation of 332,000 members. She has also been published nationally in the Legal Times (an ALM publication) and The Legal Intelligencer.

Melanie is an active member and leader with District 5 Toastmasters International. Currently she serves as the district’s Leadership Development Chair through which she provides tools and strategies to help 3,000+ members in the San Diego area become better leaders.
