We are Meledy Movingtheatre! We are an West Midlands based interdisciplinary Dance and Theater Company which was founded in 2013 at the University of Bedfordshire. At first we started just creating work towards our graduate degree at the University. But now we have successfully completed our degrees we want to take our work to the next level and perform and create professionally!
We create work that is fresh and unique. We make it our aim to surprise and entice the audience as well as challenge them! We love to include our audience members with our work.
Meledy Movingtheater consists of two main choreographers and performers, Edy Samuels and Melissa Williams.
Edy Samuels BA (Hons), is a choreographer dancer, actor, singer, musician and model. In essence he is an Artist! He gained a passion for the arts at the young age of 5. He started off learning musical instruments, drums and piano, which then lead on to performances at his school. He then began acting at the age of 12, and dancing professionally at the age of 16, gaining and triple distinction in Performing Arts at his secondary school and college.
