After a lengthy (30 years) career in the Corporate world, including some very enjoyable and productive years wth the American Express Company, it was time for a change.

I decided to build my own travel business. After purchasing a small Corporate/Leisure travel agency in Brisbane City, the business more than doubled in the next 2 years. Expansion saw the purchase of another small leisure based travel agency in the inners suburbs which grew more than 8 times the volume over the next 12 years.

After selling the business in 2012, I remained with the business as a Consultant looking after 'special groups' and luxury cruising,

After the sale contract 'handcuffs' were off I was ready for my next adventure, I formed the My Personal Travel business specialising in Luxury Land & Cruise travel arrangements for the Discerning Traveller.

I am also open to other Consultancy opportunities whether that be in the travel business or some other form of business which may utilise my wealth of experience and creative marketing initiatives ... just waiting for your call ... Mel
