Melinda Morey
Iyengar Yoga Instructor in Koloa, Hawaii
Melinda Morey is an Iyengar yoga instructor, certified at the Intermediate Junior II level. She has been practicing Iyengar yoga since 1990. Melinda’s understanding of yoga asana and philosophy is rooted in a strong personal practice. Senior level Iyengar instructor Manouso Manos and Victoria Austin are her mentors.
As a surfer, swimmer and dancer, Melinda brings a broad background of movement and understanding of biomechanics to her teaching. Students note her intensity, compassion, empathy and sense of humor.
Melinda is also an exhibiting fine artist with a masters degree in Visual Art from Rutgers Universtiy, NJ. Her work can be seen at melindamorey.com
