After completing my undergraduate degree in Honours Geography and Environmental Studies from McMaster University, I obtained a post-graduate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist Certificate from McMaster University/Mohawk College. I subsequently completed my Master's degree in Science (Botany) at the University of Quebec at Montreal, where I studied a nationally endangered species, Bird's-foot Violet (Viola pedata).
I have held a number of positions within the OMNR and externally that have provided me with expertise in the field of biology, ecology, GIS and the conservation of Species at Risk.
