Melinda Anderson
I’m a retired teacher, mother of two adult children, a devoted grandma of two adorable little boys, and an enthusiastic hobbyist photographer, recently relocated to Arizona from California. My husband and I travel to Yellowstone National Park several times a year to visit our grandsons who actually live in the park, providing me with some fantastic photo opportunities. When I have time I also love genealogy and knitting.
I bought my very first DSLR camera, a Nikon D5000, when I retired in 2010 and challenged myself to learn how to use it by taking a picture every single day of 2011! I completed another Project 365 (actually 366) in 2012, learning a little more about photography each day. Here I am still in 2014, not doing another Project 365, but continuing on my journey with my camera and having a lot of fun along the way!
