I once said, I'm taking a break from "real life" to live a "real life".

In 2012, I pushed "pause" on my wonderful life in SF including a stable career with an extremely admired company; a loving network of family and friends; a spacious 1-bedroom apartment located in a lovely neighborhood two blocks from the Golden Gate Park that I loved because it was my home for almost a decade; and much more to pursue my long time dream to trot about our marbled globe at a snail's pace.

No two RTW travel experiences can be the same, and that is a marvelous fact to embrace. After being overseas for 5 years, I found work again in SF with new perspectives. Whenever I’m "on the road", I remind myself: "Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer."

Made in Taiwan, refined on the west coast (Washington, Oregon, and California), and now polished globally.

University of Washington alumna and a forever student of life.

I photograph some travel memories with little narratives via Instagram, Tumblr, and/or Twitter, and I document things I consume and where my tiny footsteps take me via Swarm/Foursquare.

Come join me. Follow, say "hi", smile with an emoji, and keep me company by letting me know you're there. I always smile back.

Also, please check out a travel & food web-series I co-produced: DAY OF GLUTTONY viewable on YouTube, Tastemade's channel on Apple TV, and on Hulu.
