Melinda Maika

A self-identified nerd, I absolutely love to learn and be challenged. I hope to travel the world but will always be at home in the beauty of the Canadian countryside. Grad school has opened new intellectual doors for me -- truly opening my eyes to the importance of critical thinking. My research interest lies in the representations and understandings of disability in sport and my dream job would be to work with national/international governing bodies to develop sport policy to engage people with disabilities in a healthy and active lifestyle.
