Melisa Aktan
Medicine student
Passionate about healthcare, medical research, and public policy, I am a multidisciplinary student pursuing Medicine at Bogomolets National Medical University while also holding an academic background in Political Science from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. My diverse educational path allows me to approach modern healthcare challenges not only from a scientific and clinical perspective, but also through the lens of governance, policy development, and international cooperation.
Through my studies and academic experience, I have developed a strong interest in the intersection of medicine, public health, and healthcare management. I am particularly motivated by topics related to healthcare system improvement, medical education, global health policy, and evidence-based decision-making in healthcare.
Combining medical training with political and analytical thinking enables me to better understand how healthcare systems function on both institutional and societal levels. I believe that effective healthcare requires not only clinical excellence, but also strong public policy, strategic planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
I am committed to continuous professional growth, scientific development, and contributing to initiatives that improve access to quality healthcare, strengthen medical education, and support the advancement of modern healthcare systems both nationally and internationally.
