Melisa Rojas is a current sophomore at Texas Tech University. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance. As a first generation student, she is greatly involved in multicultural organizations on campus. Scholarships and grants help her attend college. She is grateful for all the opportunities Texas Tech has offered since the day she applied for admission.
Inspired by peers and their professional careers in business, she would like to become a financial analyst. She is also intending to attend graduate school in the near future. As she will be the first one to receive a college education, she is very excited to be able to start a new trend and set an example for her family and friends.
