Melissa has worked with a diverse range of organisations from tech and fitness businesses, local Government, and trade based owner/operators to leading organizations with over 5000 staff, and tech ventures. In each role she has focused on achieving a positive step-change in business performance, and supporting the people involved to achieve their goals.
Melissa loves connecting and empowering people, making a positive impact and delivering great financial and social returns.
Soapbox topics include improving diversity in business (especially in the Boardroom), diversity in the economy, leading through change, supporting people to reach their goals and Fair Trade.
In the last few years while working as a management consultant in her venture SilverDelta, she's moved into Governance and enjoys an eclectic Board portfolio, founded Bolstur - providing affordable and effective sales and marketing tools, and recently, launched Holdmine.
The other passion project is Careering9 - a book for young women entering the workforce, to help them navigate this and their career path and the podcast for this.
Melissa defines happiness as: being with loved ones, being outdoors or surrounded by books, day break, car keys and an open road, a plane ticket and a sense of adventure, knowing you've given it your all.
