Melissa Fiore

I am a highly motivated Isenberg School of Management student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst working to break into the public accounting field. My enthusiasm for learning more about the industry can be observed through my experience at the Center for Student Business, in which I financially advise a student run business on campus. In addition, my membership in Beta Alpha Psi fosters development in the field and provides opportunities for networking with peers and employers also in the industry. My experiences have allowed me to effectively communicate across a diverse group of individuals that will significantly aid in working with colleagues and clients.

My passion for accounting originated my freshman year at UMASS when I first took an introductory accounting course for a education requirement. It is a profession that I am truly passionate about and is one that I believe can take me to many far reaching places. After graduating from UMASS, I plan to complete the CPA exam and begin my life as a Certified Public Accountant!
