Wanted to be a doctor and ended up a home health caregiver instead. I enjoy one on one personal care. I enjoy helping others and letting them know that some one cares and loves them. I am married for 15 years now and have 3 beautiful children. I cared for my grandfather for 7 1/2 years and now for a dear disabled friend. I used to work in doctors offices, the blood bank and a dialysis center and it just felt like we were herding cattle in and out. The quicker we brought them in and got them out, the more $ there was to be made. I HATED that. I like being personable and taking my time and not rushing people. I don't make much $ now, but I take my time and am able to truly care for people the way they deserve to be cared for. I am rich in love and relationships and the things that truly matter in life. Showing each other we care and are loved.
