As a journalist, I have written about everything from organic farming (Ugandan farmers are going back to their traditional ways to access world markets), to cross-border trade (East African women can now stand up to corrupt officials who over-tax their goods at the border), to tech (I compared the iPhone and Android for African users when they first came out. Looking around, it looks like Android won on the continent with the highest mobile phone penetration on Earth. Talk about making a killing.)
