A bit more "About Me"
I grew up in Winnipeg, Canada, in the same house where I was born. My parents still live there today. I'm not quite sure the origin of my roving ways, but over the years I've lived in a lot of places. When I was 26, I moved to California to pursue love. I married him and now, ten years later, we always seem to be embarking on new adventures. Turns out that sometimes doing something crazy is exactly what you need to do.
My favourite place on earth is St. Vital Park on a cold winter’s night, especially when I have my skates laced up. I love to see my frozen breath when I step outside. I will always find great comfort in wearing warm sweaters knitted by my mom and I think toques with ear flaps are the epitome of cool.
I’ve learned a lot during my time on earth.
I've learned I love the ocean more than mountains, and though both are breathtaking nothing is as magical as the Northern Lights in the late Fall.
I’ve learned that of all the amazing sights this great earth has to offer, looking at your newborn for the first time is the most awe-inspiring of them all.
Being a mother has taught me a great deal of patience and the value of a good sense of humour.
I've learned that success isn't measured in the size of the goal - rather, the weight of one's success is measured in their dedication, perseverance, and commitment.
Today, my husband and I have moved back to my roots in Winnipeg where we live with our 2 sons, 2 cats, and a guinea pig. I'm blessed with a wonderful family, and beautiful friends. I live my passion every day, even the days when I feel stressed out. When I feel the crunch of a deadline, I think about my children and I always laugh.
