After twelve years in the education profession, I am looking for a new path in my career.

Call it the "twelve year itch."

While my experience primarily lies in the education sector, it should not be discounted. I've taught writing to students ranging from junior high to the college level; from remediation and review for struggling writers to term paper coaching for Harvard bound honors level graduates.

There is no better way to master a skill than to teach it to others. I can therefore confidently say I am an expert in grammar and syntax; I can make 100 words out of ten, or simplify a paper into an abstract. I can make a piece of writing poetic or technical; intriguing or inspiring.

My goal is to work in a writing capacity for a company willing to train an eager and adaptive team player who has many years experience writing and editing.
