I have always dabbled in painting, pottery, glass mosaics, jewelry and just about anything creative. I was layed off from my corporate sales job in Jan 2012 and was able to put more time and energy in doing what I love. There is something so therapeutic and relaxing in creating jewelry. Anything with bright, radiant colors puts a smile on my face. For me I am the happiest when I'm working with Color, Metals & Textures. Thus Color me Happy by Melissa ~ was born in Sept 2012

I love working in recycled materials, copper, enamel and of course color. Enameling by torch; the immersion method has been a fun experiment. Using copper to make pendants with enamel as well as enameling beads has been an adventure. You never know what colors you are actually going to get. That's what makes it the most fun to me; the unexpected adventure.
