Melissa Rodriguez

Melissa Rodriguez is a research assistant and aspiring research psychologist interested in exploring the intersections between psychooncology, health psychology, and health disparities. In 2010 she graduated from Barnard College where she studied Psychology and Health Policy. Melissa has worked as a health and science research assistant for Columbia University Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical College, and more recently Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is also a 2004 New York Times Scholar and a 2009 Hughes Science Pipeline Scholar. She is pursuing her Master's of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in Research Methods, at Teacher's College, Columbia University.
