Melissa is a Real Estate Professional with over 12 years of experience in the Florida market, with influence nationally. As Vice President of Business Development and Broker of Coral Gables-based Platinum Properties International, she and her team of 20 multi-lingual agents specialize in the luxury residential market. Melissa is consistently ranked among the top five percent of realtors in sales volume nationally.

As an industry figure Melissa is recognized amongst her industry peers, and is a regular speaker and consultant for a range of prestigious organizations. She is a member of the Master Brokers Forum, an elite group of the 200 top real estate professionals in Miami-Dade County; past chair of the Real Estate Council for the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce; has served on the Arbitration and Grievance committees for the Miami Realtors Association since 2005 and most recently qualified as a certified to mediator for the Miami Realtor Association.

She was appointed to the Florida Bar Association Grievance Committee in 2012 and to the Board of Governors of the Miami Board of Realtors in 2012/2013/2014. In response to the changing real estate market in 2008, Melissa qualified as a CDPE-Certified Distressed Property expert. She most recently earned the CIPS designate to service an international client base. Her impressive achievements extend to the general community, where she served as a member of the Executive board of Governors for the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, past Co-Chair for Mount Sinai Medical Center Board of Governors, founding member of Adopt a Classroom and past President of Miami Beach BNI.

Among her numerous achievements, she was named one of the Power Women in Real Estate by the Miami Beach SunPost in 2004 and 2005. She was a finalist in the South Florida Business Journal Woman of the Year awards in 2006 and in 2009 was a nominee for the South Florida Business Journal Top 25 Movers and Shakers designation. In 2011 Melissa was named one of the Women Extraordinaire by Business Leader Magazine.
