I've been living, biking and breathing in Boston for 8 years. When I was 15, I vowed to never own a car and took up the bike as my main form of transportation. To this day, I still think that is the smartest decision I ever made. I love this city - its urban parks, communities, streets, and I'm proud to say I own my commute.
My mission is simple: To empower people to bike. It has been statistically proven that cities with increasing bike riders show decreasing crash statistics. It's true, there are safety in numbers.
Living my mission:I serve on the board of an amazing and active Boston-based bicycle collective. We lead group rides, host free bike repair hours, and have a lot of fun getting people on their bikes and on the streets. With this group, I am co-developing a program for an after school bike club. It has been an honor showing many different people the joys of getting around by bike.
Own your commute:City biking is intimidating, yet once mastered can give you amazing personal, physical, and emotional benefits. I didn't hit the pavement until a good friend showed up at my door with a map, outlined how I can get to where I needed to go, and then guided me through my routes. From that day on, my life changed forever - I didn't have to rely on anyone else to get me where I needed to go. If you are looking for someone to help you own your commute, contact me and we can make a plan together.
