I love working in news. It was apparent this career was for me even as a young child. As my mom tells it, the open to the "NBC Nightly News" would put me into a trance and I would stop everything I was doing-- even eating. My favorite part of the job is the constant learning. I get to see everything going on in the world-- every day, every second-- and share the highlights with my viewers. It is a role I do not take lightly.

Outside of work, I find pleasure in traveling, playing tennis, running, long hikes with my fiance and watching college football/basketball (Go MSU!). I volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. Also, my dachshund and I are a trained therapy team. We are in the READ program, which gives kids the opportunity to read to the dog and build their confidence.
