Hi, I'm Melissa Villarreal, a student, artist, teacher, and a go with the flow enthusiast. My passion will forever be art. I am currently studying to major in Art History, Illustration, and minoring in French Language. I am currently searching for, paid or internship, gallery work to gain experience to further my career.

Some of my goals are:

• Become a reputable exhibitions director and work on many creative projects within the community, nationwide, and ultimately internationaly.
• Become professional illustrator and have works in commercial illustrations as well as childrens books.
• Work with gaming engineers on concept art such as character design and landscape.

As an artist, I work with multi-media some of my favorites being, ink & brush, pen, water colors, charcoal, pencils, and oil paint. As an illustrator I prefer to work digitally on Corel Painter, Photoshop, and Sketchbook Express, using a Wacom Intuos5. My favorite subjects and skills include portraits, the human figure, perspective, abstract, and symmetry.
