I am a 25 year old Mommy to a handsome, smart, hilarious, truck and car-loving, almost 3 year old little boy named Blake. I am also lucky enough to be a Wifey to my AMAZING, too many adjectives to describe him, husband named, Gene. Yup, I'm out-numbered by boys and I love it.

I am a young woman who has been chosen by God to fight a strange, rare, bone marrow failure disease called Aplastic Anemia. I don't want to bore you telling all about it so here is a link to read up on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aplastic_anemia

With this disease comes hard days, scary days, lots of Doctors appointments, test results, scans, blood work and over-all a roller coaster. But, I don't let it dictate how I live my life. I've been so blessed by God to have an amazing support system through family, friends and faith.

I'm a strong believer that I am alive today because of my Lord and Saviour. God has a purpose and a plan for my life and I am absolutely honored in sharing my story and experiences in hoping to encourage and/or help someone along this journey called life.

I LOVE humor, sarcasm, bragging about my husband, date nights at the grocery store, doing make-up, big earrings, baking, eating, laughing, blogging, bringing awareness about Aplastic Anemia, teaching my son new things, my family, wearing hoodies, praying, and meeting new people.

I DON'T like stepping on toy cars (ouch!), gnats or any type of bug, coconut, dark chocolate, walking around wet, not wearring earrings, people not using their blinker, 2/3 year old tantrums, chocolate cake or chocolate ice cream, running late, negativity, and laundry.

I'm excited to start my blog back up and share with you what our "normal" is in the lives of the Work family.
