So I'm Melissa, also known as anything my friends feel like calling me. Budding Journalist/PR/Marketer/Entrepreneur/Stylist/Traveller.

"Communications and Media" was my Uni thing, having just graduated from Bournemouth University after a 3 year course with a years internship in PR and Marketing for a high end beauty brand in London.
This is my lifestyle blog, I write about anything that captures my attention or I think would be of use to you lovely people out there, and hope to enlighten you a little on what is going on in my world right now.
One day (not too far away I hope!) I plan to travel the world and fill you all in along the way.

A little bit about my Work/Academic background:

I'm a Communications and Media graduate with a 2:1 from Bournemouth University. I love writing, and have a passion for travelling, fashion and generally exploring everywhere I visit. While studying at University I learnt a whole range of Media Skills including: Web Communication, Adaptation, Writing for the Media, Communication Skills, Media Journalism and Society, PR, Marketing, Advertising, Photoshop and News and Journalism. I also have a rough idea about Spanish conversation, after taking A-level and conversation classes for a few years so I can just about get by.
I have experience in various sectors of the media industries including having had work experience at a BBC publication, The Daily Express Newspaper, Ofcom, Freud Communications as well as for freelance lifestyle stylists and journalists and recently at Sisley Cosmetics UK . During my final year at Uni I was lucky enough to be a Wiiings Girl for Red Bull in the South and I am currently a guest blogger for US fashion label Guess @GUESSOneToWatch.

I'm currently a Culture Marketing Graduate at an energy drinks company in London.
