I could still hear my late Grandma’s voice echo in my ears. These words have been my guiding principle whenever I’m confronted with money issues. Back then, I thought being young and smart with a promising career was all there is to it. But as my income grew bigger, it also caused me to stumble a few times. My mistake was that I allowed others to manage my finances. I’ve now come to understand that being in control is a positive thing even in a negative situation.

My mission with this blog is to write about the financial side of life and to inspire you to take control of your personal finances. From money management, budgeting tips to financial terms and definitions, I’ll try to share as much information with all of you every day. I hope you find something new here, enjoy learning from it, and pass it on to someone else.

I’m not your certified financial advisor but just someone who prides herself of having accomplished and learned something from past experiences. Learning is a constant thing. I’m a firm believer of that and I hope you are too.
