Melissa Gutierrez

Currently enrolled in The City College of New York, I major in advertising/public relations and minor in journalism. I am a junior and hope to graduate in Spring 2014.

While growing up, I changed my career several times because I was interested in so many things. Then, I discovered journalism. I always enjoyed keeping people up to date with news and reading and writing, so I contemplated becoming a journalist. One day, as I watched the morning news, I observed the anchors and it clicked. That was what I wanted to do.

Besides journalism, I want to own a bakery and travel the world. I believe that nothing can stop me from fulfilling my dreams.
